MOVIE REVIEW - GEMINI MAN: TO WATCH, OR NOT TO WATCH?
There’s no better feeling than spending Canadian Thanksgiving with the family in a movie theater watching the Fresh Prince himself on the big screen. Regardless of Hollywood and moviegoers semi hating on big Willy’s film choices as of late, there’s something about him that you always just want more of, regardless of the movie role that he decides to grace us with. We feel like Will is at a time in his life and career where he gets to choose his roles, so you have to ask yourself, why this one? We speculate that themes of “father” and coming against your own mortality could be big reasons. That’s of course if you’re mind is willing to see a movie that’s deeper than just its graphics and few action scenes.
The entire family got home and immediately debated the film and saw concepts of slavery, self-hate/love, or lack thereof, daddy issues, slave breeding and overcoming one’s past. It’s hard to talk about this film without giving anything away, but we would love to know what undertones you might have come across while watching this film. Don’t let the low box office revenue, or low ratings sway you from watching this watchable film.

Will deserves a role that can finally put him back up there with the heavy-hitters. But not just a blockbuster. Something different, and dark. Something he has never done before. Something that can push his limits as an actor and that will make the world respect him even more! We love you Will, and just want the best for you, and we respect you as an artist.
